Existing HMIS User Information

For Existing HMIS Users

 

Inactive Accounts

If you've previously had a Clarity HMIS Account, and your account is currently inactive, please review the following steps:

The HMIS system policy makes your account inactive if it has been unused for 60 days.

If your account has been inactive for more than 60 days but less than 90 days, email: alameda@bitfocus.com.

    • In the request, please make sure to include the following information:
      • User Name
      • User Email

If your account is unused for 90 days or more, you must retake the training.

  1. The user must retake the Alameda: Privacy and Security Training and the Clarity Human Services: General Training.
  2. Once training has been completed, the Agency Liaison should contact the Bitfocus Help Desk at alameda@bitfocus.com to request reactivation of the account. 
    • In the request, please make sure to include the following information:
      • User Name
      • User Email

 

Changing to a New Agency

For users who have previously had a Clarity HMIS Account and are switching to a new agency, please review the following steps:

  1. To request a user account, the Agency Liaison should contact the Bitfocus Help Desk at alameda@bitfocus.com.
    • Please make sure to include the following information when submitting your request:
      • User Name
      • User Email


 

Additional Agency Access

For Existing Alameda County HMIS Users: If you require additional agency access, the request should come from the Agency Liasion of the Agency you are adding. The request should also include the Agency Liaison from your home agency.

  1. If a user requires additional agency access, the Agency Liaison should submit a request to the Bitfocus Help Desk at alameda@bitfocus.com
  2.  Please make sure to include the following information when submitting your request:
    • Users Name
    • Users Agency Email
    • Name of the Agency you are requesting Additional Access
